About Shout
Shout is the UK’s free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who is struggling to cope and needs to talk. It works in partnership with Crisis Text Line in the United States.
When you text SHOUT to 85258, you are put in touch with a trained Crisis Volunteer, who chats with you by text, listens, and helps you think more clearly about your next step. Texting can feel easier than calling when it’s hard to speak, or when you can’t talk out loud where you are.
